EXHIBITS
We create new exhibits as well as maintain and upgrade our permanent exhibits. We research
exhibit content then design and fabricate the exhibits.
Our latest exhibits are "Savannah Eats", an exploration of local food traditions, and
"Monumental Pulaski", in which we display the original top of the Pulaski Monument.
Revolutionary War hero Casimir Pulaski is memorialized in Monterey Square, however, the monument
had begun to deteriorate over the years. Conservators created a replica for the top of the monument
and advised that the original should be kept indoors, where it is safe from weather and pollution
that wear away the marble. The "Monumental Pulaski" exhibit interprets the historical, artistic,
and environmental aspects of Pulaski and the monument.

SHIP MODEL EXHIBITS
Maintaining the exhibits is an important part of preserving the museum objects. Dust and light
cause artifacts to break down. Objects require periodic cleaning. For the ship models, another
of our free exhibits, we cleaned and updated the exhibit at the same time.
