Historical Theme Dinners

Old Fort Jackson hosts a variety of unique, historically themed dining experiences -- all in a setting unlike any other in the area. We have a variety of menus to choose from, or you may create your own. All proceeds from your dinner will go toward the preservation of this National Historic Landmark.

  • Captain of the Guard
  • This special dinner program is designed for large groups (50 or more), primarily conferences and corporate functions. Spend an evening at Fort Jackson and enjoy a delicious meal and music of the 19th century, highlighted with a cannon firing demonstration of one of the largest pieces of 19th century artillery in the United States.

  • Mess and Muster
  • This dinner program is designed for smaller groups (25 or more), primarily our senior travelers. A delicious meal along with friendly soldiers of long ago will make this a unique dining pleasure for visitors to Georgia's queen city. We have been honored to host numerous World War II veterans organizations, as well as nationally known Civil War historian Ed Bearss.
