Battle of Savannah Lecture-- Haitians and African-Americans

The Coastal Heritage Society, City of Savannah Cultural Affairs Commission, and Savannah Morning News invite you to attend the fourth and final installment of the Battle of Savannah Lecture Series, Thursday October 7th in the Savannah History Museum Theatre.  The Museum is located at 303 Martin Luther King, Junior Boulevard in the same building as the Visitors Information Center.  This lecture by Dr. Charles Elmore of Savannah State University will focus on the role Haitian volunteers and African-Americans played in the battle.  Light refreshments will be served at 6:30 p.m., and the lecture begins at 7 at the Savannah History Museum Theatre.  For more information, visit www.chsgeorgia.org or call the Coastal Heritage Society at 912.651.6895.
