Siege of Savannah Virtual Program

Costumed Resource Educators lead this dynamic virtual program, guiding viewers back in time to explore the events and personalities of the 1779 Battle of Savannah, using historical weapons and demonstrations and participatory activities suitable for children (4th grade and up) and adults alike.

Pin Point Heritage Museum

Visit the former A.S. Varn & Son Oyster and Crab Factory, which has been transformed into an educational center for visitors to authentically learn about the Gullah/Geechee culture directly from residents who grew up in the small, close-knit community! Guests can discover these unique lifeways, from daily life to religion, language, and food.

Friday & Saturday: 10:30am, 12pm, and 2pm at Savannah History Museum | March through history and learn about the American Revolution in Savannah! Experience a black powder demonstration, immerse yourself in 1779 Savannah, and hear about the personalities that shaped the city’s fight for freedom!
